Our Story

It's amazing how a love story so deep could begin so simply, with a note passed in 4th grade. If you ask Julian, that's when we first became "boyfriend and girlfriend," a sweet start to a bond that would become the foundation of our lives. More than that, we were each other's best friends, a friendship that, unknown to us at the time, was being carefully watched over by fate.

A Chapter of Growth and Separation

Life, with its grand, complex plan, guided us through our teenage years and into the world, leading us on separate journeys that were essential for the people we needed to become. Julian answered the call to serve, dedicating his young adulthood to the Marines, while I immersed myself in academics, pursuing my degree at Rutgers. For 13 years, we were separated by distance and experience, each of us learning profound lessons about ourselves, our strengths, our vulnerabilities, and what we truly wanted from life.

These weren't wasted years, they were a period of molding and preparation. God, in His perfect timing, always knew when to align our lives together to find each other exactly when we needed it the most.

The Reunion and Forever Alignment

Then, as if guided by an invisible hand, the universe gently pushed us back together. Julian was completing his commitment to the Marines, and I was crossing the stage at my Rutgers graduation by each other's side. It was the end of one chapter for both of us and the perfect moment to start a new one, together. We realized that the connection we forged as children was not just a memory, but a forever bond that had simply been waiting for us to catch up to it.

Our love story is a beautiful testament to patience, growth, and divine timing. It began with a childhood crush and blossomed into an undeniable, enduring love. It's the story of a boy who, in 4th grade, passed a note asking me to be his girlfriend, and then, 16 years later, got down on one knee to ask me to marry him.

We truly couldn't have asked for a better love story, and we are overjoyed and incredibly grateful to have you all join us to share in the next, and most important, part of our journey.
